Ledrie, reinforced rigid leather saddlebag set. 25 liter

25 liter per bag. Dimensions per bag: 52cm long x 17.5cm wide x 28cm high. Manufactured from premium quality 2.8mm thick split leather. All saddlebags, side bags and sissy bar bags come with a 4mm thick HDPE (polyethylene thermoplastic) back panel, unless mentioned otherwise. This is same material of which, for instance, kayaks are made, to ensure maximum strength & shape retention under harsh conditions. The reinforcing plate is sewn onto the leather, giving it excellent strength and great universal mounting options. A special groove is cut into the HDPE back plate, allowing for lowered stitching in the groove, below the surface of the back plate. This protects stitching from abrasion. All bags are pre-treated with a special oil for maximum life and water resistance. All bags are hand-made by experienced personnel to ensure a continuous high quality standard. Mounting note: These saddlebags can be used with the universal Ledrie saddlebag carrier kit 559467 or with the universal Ledrie saddlebag bracket 55946. Since motorcycle specific application and rider preference vary, no hardware is included and no provisions are made to attach the saddlebag to the saddlebag bracket. Holes can be drilled in the desired location in the reinforced rear portion of the saddlebag and mounted to the universal carrier frame, which must be ordered separately, or custom made. Many riders prefer a simple but effective mounting on the carrier with a few sturdy cable ties. Installation note: Model specific hardware kits are available as 559463 for 91-03 Sportster, 559464 for 04-13 Sportster, 559465 for 86-17 Softail; 96-17 Dyna (without FLD); 14-20 Sportster.
