RED SHIFT PERFORMANCE CAMS FOR MILWAUKEE EIGHT
Designed by Zipper’s Engineering, these Red Shift cams deliver significant improvements in power and throttle response right where you ride. These High Performance cams are intended for use with Big Bore cylinder kits, high compression pistons and ported or Performance cylinder heads for big gains in both torque and horsepower. Install with performance tappets, adjustable pushrods and High Lift valve springs as indicated.
The Red Shift 548 produces excellent low-end torque, while still producing big power over the entire RPM range in modified engines with 10.75-11.0:1 compression. Install with performance tappets, .550" lift valve springs with 100 lbs. seat and 280+ lbs. nose pressure and adjustable pushrods
The Red Shift 552 is a power cam for modified Milwaukee Eight engines with 10.8-11.2:1 compression, designed to provide a strong broad power torque with more peak HP. Excellent choice for riders who demand the best overall power for Torque and HP. The Red Shift 558 is a High Torque cam for modified Milwaukee Eight engines with 11.25-11.5:1 compression, designed to provide a strong torque curve rather than more peak power. Has slightly more lift than its brother, the RS 562. This allows the engine builder to reduce the stress on the valve spring with standard or higher rocker ratios standard up to 1.64 ratio. Install with performance tappets, .550" lift valve springs with 100 lbs. seat and 280+ lbs. nose pressure and adjustable pushrods
The Red Shift 562 grind is another power cam for modified Milwaukee Eight engines with 11.25-11.75:1 compression, designed to provide a strong power curve with more peak power with high flow heads. Has slightly lower lift than its big brother, the RS 582. This allows the engine builder to reduce the stress on the valve spring with standard or higher rocker ratios standard up to 1.64 ratio.
